She can have her cake and eat it,
With warmth and taste replete,
She is my chocolate melody.
Desires spread across country plains,
Life begins to blossom after her love rains,
I’ve dreamt of her by the willow tree.
She is the sweetest form of cadence,
I can, to naught but her rhythm, dance,
I’ll love her forever by my heart’s decree.
As much as I ‘hate’ on Beyonce, for reasons which I won’t get into right now, the woman has 3 things going for her:
1) A ridiculously amazing voice
2) Outrageous style
3) Dancing & Choreography
All these are showcased in her latest single ‘Run the World (Girls)’. What a video. This lady brings back ‘The Stanky Leg’ and even brings in that South African township flavour by mastering ‘Pantsula’.
If one thing’s for sure, she’s a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry, she’s well on her way to ‘Michael Jackson’ GLORY.
If you don’t believe me, Check it out for yourself right below.
Look out for:
a) Pantsula at 01:04
b) Fashion sense – throughout THE WHOLE VIDEO
c) The Stanky Leg at 03:28
d) Her vocal brilliance – THE WHOLE SONG
I have had this particular video on repeat the whole day.
It is so catchy and well directed. The lyrics are sizzling and the choreography is on point.
Anyway, enough chatter, here it is:
